I work with patients who have:

- Education for people newly diagnosed with prediabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes: including blood glucose monitoring Continuous glucose monitoring, Insulin pump therapy , understanding medications, incorporating and balancing exercise and activity and hypoglycaemia management.
- Understanding screening of complications associated with diabetes.
- Dietary assessment and individualised advice related to health goals.
- Education on starting insulin and life balance.
- Managing insulin sport and exercise.
- Individualised sick day/ ketone action plans
Insulin pump therapy plays an important role in diabetes management for people living with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
I am a certified insulin pump trainer for all insulin pumps including Medtronic 780G, AMSL T slim X2, Omnipod 5 and Omnipod dash and Ypsomed My life pump
Research has shown that Hybrid closed loop insulin pump therapy can reduce the frequency of severe hypoglycaemia as well as improve quality of life. Using a pump may also improve suboptimal blood glucose control.

Tele health/ Online consultations are also available on request.
My practice is a private billing practice. $61.80 Medicare rebate is available when seen in conjunction with a GP management care plan and enhanced primary care referral. Some private health insurance companies offer rebates for Diabetes Education and should be discussed with your chosen health provider prior to booking an appointment.Full payment is required at the time of consultation. TSDE has EFTPOS facilities and are able to process your Medicare rebate at the time of consultation.
